Overview PAA East is the leading advocate for quality rental housing in the eastern region of PA. PAA East’s mission is to serve the interests of multifamily housing owners, managers, and suppliers; and to maintain a high level of professionalism in the apartment housing industry to better serve the rental housing needs of the public. PAA East represents apartment owners, their employees and suppliers who provide products and services in the multifamily industry.
The 2019 Trade Show, including our educational sessions, will be held March 27, 2019 at the Valley Forge Casino and Convention Center in King of Prussia. We anticipate more than 2,000 professionals to attend, making this the largest education conference for the multifamily housing industry in the northeast US. We are seeking educational sessions that will provide members with educational and innovative presentations that will engage and inform members. Workshops should stimulate discussion and address topics that directly impact members of the multifamily industry.
Along with networking with our vendors on the trade show floor, educational programming is the foundation of our Trade show. Therefore, we seek to design a robust and well-balanced education program that focuses on the topics that our members value and require in their day-to-day practices. Professional development is the number one concern for this group of professionals.
Individuals who believe they can contribute new ideas, solutions, and innovations for current issues and challenges that confront the multifamily housing industry are encouraged to submit a written proposal by November 30, 2018. We are looking for presentations that would be attended by leasing, maintenance and property management and executive staff members. We are particularly looking for maintenance presentations, hands-on, small group experiential presentations are welcome.
Speakers selected from this process will receive the opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise with audience members. The topic must be educational and relevant to the multifamily industry without explicitly promoting a company.

If this is a hands on maintenance workshop, please document supplies needed.
PLEASE NOTE: Presentations are 75 minutes in length. Slides may not have company logos although they may have contact information at the end. Content should be educational in nature, not a sales presentation. Submissions should be complete and are due 11/30/18. Incomplete, late or promotional submissions will not be considered. Relevance to multifamily housing market
Intelligent and clearly articulated submission materials with achievable learning objectives
Provides useful information that attendees can apply to daily work life
